It took us three months to write this. We purchased a beautiful kitten from Happy Paws (Miami) in February of 2025. A little over a year later our baby was diagnosed with stomatitis (gum disease) and congenital heart failure. She deteriorated very quickly and we lost her after spending $7k on vets surgeries and consultations to try and get her healthy. These kittens are very expensive and this breeder offers no health guarantee. I would hope they will reach out to other owners who adopted from the same litter and at least warn them of their sisters health issues. Losing a kitten after a year is devastating. To happy paws - please check the health of the parents / lineage for the British shorthairs. The kitten you sold us was very sick. I hope this never happens to anyone else. Rest in peace sweet Gemma.

We want to thank Happy Paws US for our handsome and sweet Marik, Devon Rex kitten. We are so in love with him. ❤️ Through out the whole process they stayed in touch with us, sent us pictures and videos of the kitten while we waited for him to get older to be able to travel. When we came to pick him up, the cattery was very clean, everyone was so friendly and attentive and all kittens that we saw there were well taken care of.

IF and that’s a huge IF you buy a kitty from them, MAKE SURE to do FULL BLOODWORK on them (test everything, including liver) WITHIN their 3 day grace period. My beautiful Scottish came home and had diarrhea right away. The store rep told me that’s normal. After taking her (less than 5 months of purchase) to the vet, they informed she has liver illness (the vet believes it’s a liver shunt- a condition they are BORN WITH, but signs are not appearing until later on. So, beware that you might lose all your money and have heartbreaking news if you don’t take proper precautions. FULL BLOODWORK upon purchase. The 2 vets I had check her confirmed she had a liver defect. I offered to bring her back to the store for FREE, no refund requested, and they declined stating I didn’t take her to the vet within the 3 day grace period- although I did so. I’m looking to rehome my beautiful kitty for FREE due to the fact that she has a pending liver issue. I forgot how much I paid for her but it was around $3K. Huge mistake- and as much as I love her, I can’t give her that care she needs. Happy paws has my info if you want this beauty for free, but you need to seek medical care for her. And I’m see

My finance and I had such an amazing experience getting our British Shorthair kitten! From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much care goes into the kittens and the facility itself.
